SC&MS is a research framework. Everything on this site, including the taxonomy, classifications, examples, and blog posts, is analytical opinion based on independent research into how scams operate. It is published for educational and defensive purposes.

Brand and product references
Scam operations routinely impersonate well-known companies, government agencies, and public figures. When the taxonomy or corpus names a brand, product, or organization, it is a descriptive reference to the entity being impersonated or invoked by scammers. It is not a statement that the named entity is involved in, responsible for, or associated with any scam. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
